I thought I would try the VR3 wireless backup camera (Costco special).

Is there a place to pull power from for the camera and the monitor that does not require a cut / splice?

If anyone has tried the VR3 and it doesn't work (heat problem), let me know.

I just watched a motorweek TV show last night. They had a review of a backup camera that picked up power from the taillight socket for the backup light. Sorry I didn't catch the brand of the camera..

The nuclear reactor light draws power from the license plate light. Good place to get power form and easy to access.
