Post your favorite pics of your FGT!

Lloyd Ruby driving my FGT

Was in Wichita Falls TX (home of Lloyd Ruby) and he had 4 GTs to choose from (different colors) to drive in a parade. He chose my red (fastest color). It was a true honor to meet him and ride with him. He drove several original Ford GTs in various racesin the sixties. He won 12hrs of Sebring with Ken Miles and was in numerous races including Indy several times. I had him sign my car and to my knowlegde mine is the only "new" GT he has ever driven. He passed away earlier this year.

These are my two favourites of my car. The first one is in the French Alps and the second one is at the Ferrari factory visitor's entrance.

Didn't they INSIST that you remove the GT from the premises in short order?

I seem to remember someone mentioning that somewhere.

Ya! The body language of the guy in the blue shirt & jeans is priceless!

"Aaaaaaaah! Now I see why we can't seem to compete with these...":lol

('Appears to be seconded by the guy in the RED shirt!):rofl

Photoshop a Ferrari sign onto that building and come up with a catchy "Priceless" phrase and he could sell a million of them. Awesome! :)

Yeah that's right. The security guard initially waved me into that parking spot which I learned later is reserved exclusively for Ferraris. I got out of the car to take this picture and when he saw "Ford GT" on the side of my door he started frantically waving his arms to get me to move my car. It was a classic moment.
That's SLF360 from the Forum standing between my car and his 360 CS.

I knew you had a W12 Bentley, but forgot about the Vanq. Very cool plates.

WOW!!! Really great thread of photos!!! They are all terrific to scroll though and read the quotes, but the French Alps and the Ferrari store photos are just priceless. Thanks to every who has posted and keep them coming. It is obvious we have a group that appreciates their cars!! :cheers

I can't wait to move my car to Vegas. I need a new locale to stage some interesting shots! In the spirit of keeping the photos coming here are a couple of more that I like...........

Ed's favorite photos of his GT

I feel these 2 photos show what the GT means to me:

All out at Thunderhill Raceway an a Saturday

and

In a Napa County winery parking spot taking my wife out on a Sunday!

It looks good & drives even better! What a car!

When Shadowman wanted a name for my GT project. I asked my girlfriend, Sandy to come up with a name. She did some research and came p with "Ruby" in honor of Lloyd Ruby and the Red color. I was excited to read about Lloyd driving in "Go Like Hell", by A. J. Baime. Your story is a nice post script to my own little story. Lloyd was supposed to be on a team for the 1966 LeMans, but broke his back in a plane crash, so he was one tough guy.
