Love mine. Have used it for Rally 7 at NOLA and just last weekend at Texas Mile. Easy to get the car in and out of that's for sure! You picked a good one :cheers
Ratchet straps cross-wise through the wheels, or, in the rear, around the LCAs.
We talked about e-track, but Carl (Trailex Nat'l Sales Mgr) got me in a comfort zone with their system. He also had some Chip Beck stories! hahaha! And FGT posters in his office.
These extension mirrors worked great. I could clearly see the trailer fenders. Very little vibration. They made PA TPK toll booths and single-lane-with-jersey-barrier-on-both-sides construction zones comfortable.
I'm thinking of having some signs made for the trailer that might deter theft. "GT Tacos" would likely encourage break in. Maybe "GT Septic Service. Your shit is our bread and butter."
Nice warm day today...a good day to get some practice loading the new trailer. Very easy for one person using the winch, with one exception. I wanted a wireless controller, but I was told the cable controller was plenty long. Well, it is not nearly long enough. The car pulled in nicely, but I could see it was getting to the balance point where, when the weight shifted forward, the car would roll to the front of the trailer. The controller cable was barely long enough for me to sit in the car and reach way forward out the window to operate the controller and have my foot over the brake. So...I will be getting a wireless controller after all. Alternatively, I could have parked on a hill, but I did not have a hill. Wireless is the way to go for one person operation. The chin spoiler cleared the ramps by about 1/2 inch. Nothing else on the bottom came close to touching.
