Aaaaaaaah...but, will "AAA" come out to the event and change it for him should that be necessary? :shrug :biggrin

(That P3-4 car is GORGOUS!)

EP, on the way up to the event we saw a race trailer rig.The name of the race team was " Empty Pockets Racing " I tried to get a picture but we blew by him.. You weren't down here with out notice were you...:bored

Why are the Goodyear raised white letters mounted on the inside of the wheels of the Mark IV?? I thought Goodyear sponsored some of the Le Mans races?
Looking at the picture it has " Good Year " on both sides of the tire.

Hey Brian, good to see you again. Your car looked great & represented the FGT very well!!!

More pics here, don't have time to post them at the moment.

Hey Kim,
It was great to see you as well. Thanks for throwing up the link. As you know there was lots to look at !! See you soon.. Brian

Somehow this color just looks wrong for the CGT! It seem very close to the blue used on the Heritage GT.

Where does the Red SSC 'Arrow call home?

That was part of the SSC factory display. They had 3 cars at the event..

I agree , we saw that car when it rolled in and and thought the color didn't fit the car.. Maybe it's a work in progress.. orange coming soon..

Actually I do not want to pass for a heretic but I think the Heritage color is not the right Gulf Blue.

I spent months deciding how I wanted my 911 painted and Gulf Blue/Orange was up there. We sampled basically any possible combination and had access to a 917 in Gulf livery.....

The CGT pictured here was a one off car with a paint to sample option and pretty close to the Porsche Gulf Blue. The original idea was to add the orange, but the owner never got around to doing it.

wow, some lovely shots......

I met Glickenhaus and 'The Beast of Turin' at Goodwood a while back. What a generous, modest and patient man he was. A genuinely nice guy who was happy to field every question fired at him.

As to the P4/5, I think it means more to some than it does to me! It's a one-off amazing car, a labour of love - but somehow too intense. A bit hard to explain, but I think it's a shame that people continually 'question' this car and that James seems to have to defend it somehow-there's some interesting reading on it here.

I agree, Jim was around the cars fielding questions and hanging out like a car guy ! I think it's a shame they had to toast an Enzo for the project. That's such a rare car , hate to see one lost on purpose.. I cannot fault or judge anyone who pursues his passion or dream especially if it's not hurting anyone..

Brian it would have been nice if they had one of these in there event.

Bill did you go to the Cavalino Event ? When do I get my ride??

I was at the Sunday event for all marks. I was asked to bring my B-16 Chevron. There were only 2 Ford GT's, one Red/white and all Black
