I brought my MK II to Buttonwillow a couple weeks ago for a time trials event. I'm still learning the track, but the MK II is sooooo friendly to drive that it made my life quite easy. At the end of the day, my 1:41.3 lap of CW13 was the quickest of the day by a margin, and for reference is 5 seconds faster than my best time in my derestricted, 585HP Mustang GT4 race car.

Enjoy!

Can you say FUN?

Fantastic!

Here's wishing you many more days of that kind of enjoyment from your marvelous, purpose-built machine.

Looks fantastic as well. Drivers seeing that livery blow past them will be doing a time warp double take.

Happy Holidays

That’s smokin‘. Not a lot of visual references out there, like trees etc. Still hit your marks spot on. Bravo!

Nice drive!

Yes, it's a difficult track - few reference points, many connected corners, and elevation and camber are all in play. It's also very fast - my average speed on that lap was 103 MPH.

To put the pace in perspective, one of my fellow time trial drivers posted this video from inside his car. He was going about 115 MPH when it happens...

Holy crap! Great driving! You passed him like he wasn’t even moving!

Don't Blink... LOL

Ben,

I heard you have close to 3000 miles on the MKII. That's a lot of for just picking it up a few months ago. Great driving.

Beautiful car and awesome performance - hell of a combination!!!!

I love these videos! I’ve watched them all! I just love the sound and speed this car makes. Is that the onboard motec or a different cam? Video quality looks better than mine. I need to upload my cota lap.

That's a GoPro hero 9 -- linear FOV, 60fps. And, sadly, no data overlay

Just terrific stuff, Ben. When do we get a peek at your 2020 street GT? 🙂
