Yesterday and today my tach wouldn't work. Today in addition the oil pressure gauge and the gas gauge didn't work. By shutting down and restarting a few times they started working. The last time I drove 60 miles and the gas gauge stayed on full. When I shut down, I restarted and the gauge went to 3/4.
Has anyone else had this problem and what is the fix????:frown

Low battery or bad ground. Old posts on these.

Hi Joe

I am surprised that I did not hear from you; I hope that you are your newest gal are getting along well.

As was mentioned the battery being low is a biggie and then add to this the primary grounding point were the negative cable attaches has caused some concern; the fix at this area is little more than removing the cable; it is a 10mm bolt head and then sand the contact area and then reinstall. In order to access the battery and the cable you will need to open the bonnet and remove the storage tub; there are 4 plastic 1/4 turn retainers; turn them and take them out and have them in your pocket before you remove the tub. If you remove the tub from the passenger side you can do so while leaving the tire pump in place; it will lift at the rear and then slide directly out and up; it is very easy to do and does not weight much Joe.

Call me with any questions; I suspect you have a very minor issue typical of new gal growing pains

All the best

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl The Quirks jumped! :thumbsup :rofl:rofl

I had it in today. The initial reason was to change the oil pressure sensor. They changed the sensor, tightened the ground and discovered that the battery was bad. They put in a temporary battery and everything seems fine. Only time will tell!
I will keep you informed.
By the way, I always park the Jag next to the Aston!:wink
