I like that!! ;-)))

Ballast isn't permanent, so it can be added to tune for the track conditions. My bet is they will try for the lowest base weight possible so that ballast can be added where appropriate. Ballast would be required if the weight were under the minimum.

Possibly a premature and academic conversation at this juncture. I think the Balance of Performance factor will drive the ballast conversation race-to-race. Aren't there four races prior to LeMans next year? Would seem many opportunities to have weight change. I think I'd be looking for slower, more consistent drivers for the first few races. ;-))

Compare the sound of the video with the Robertson's demo last Thursday.

I'm not sure I'll ever get over the difference.

However, if I ever have the opportunity to have one, I can surely live with it.

Can still take out the '06 to hear a righteous V8 sound.

Great video !! the V6 is sounding good but I agree the Robertson's cars sounded wicked !!

I'm sure the New Ford GT will have great sound for the street version which I would love to have. The list thing Rick Titus told me when he knew I had purchased a 2006 Ford GT was "Bud there are things you should do to make the sound better." We all did change the sound. There is nothing about the New Ford GT I don't like. Sitting behind a mule going into the Ford Track complex excited my wife Sue and I to no end. It does as every Car does looks better on the street than sitting in a display even though the tail lights were strange and the color was somewhat Dull.

It was very cool how the NFGT strategically appeared during the track event. A lesson in excellent customer appreciation/relations. Well done Ford!

Yes excellent PR
