Is 600 miles a "hard" number to get the oil changed on the NFGT or a recommended? I will be over that by the time I get mine done in Atlanta next week before the race.

If you don't track the car, you can wait up to 2500 miles...per concierge. I had mine done at 1200 miles.

I will be in the same boat as CATMAN. I am close to 700 now and was going to get it done. But will have to get done after the trip.

As ByeEnzo says, 2500 miles is the new number if you're not being hard on it. This from oil analysis.

wow, I didn't know about the 2,500, I brought mine in at 1000 miles 3 weeks ago, and it's still there...

I would have loved to have stretched, that mile marker way past 600 (I think I was at 800 when I changed it). Tough watching like new oil thats $100 a gallon drain into a pan.

I sure hope its because of other issues. The oil change is very straight forward in these cars.

You might re-use the oil in one of the Model A's. ;-)

No, but if you can, do it around then. You bringing it to RA?
