New Matech GT's to the stable (pic inside)

Lance,

After a great time with those cars at Le Mans I was afraid that #60 would be destroyed in a race later in the season and lost. I hoped it would be retired and preserved for posterity. I'm happy all 4 cars survived and are in your hands. Several pieces of #60 and #61 that were on it during the Le Mans race are sitting on my desk as I type this. :thumbsup Congratulations on a very historic acquisition. Well done bro!!!!! :cheers

Chip

Chip,

Irony has it... I was at Le Mans in 2010 (next to Matech) in the Corvette VIP lounge, I'm really bummed I didn't make it over to the Matech area. I had good intentions, in fact Dave and I spoke leading up to the race but time just got away (as you well know!). However I enjoyed watching the Matech cars throughout the race (while they lasted). I also enjoyed reading your review on the Shelby Forum as well - good stuff! All of the Matech cars deserve a good home, rest assured these 4 GT1 cars will be in good hands with Greg and myself. In fact, he lives in WA and he'll have 2 cars on the 'West Coast' while I have the other 2 cars on the 'East Coast'.

We're lucky to own them and I'm thankful everything came together. Thanks for your note.

Life is good,

Lance

PS It's cool that you have a couple pieces of the car on your desk!

PSS Thanks for all you do within the Ford GT community, I enjoyed the dinner in AZ a couple years back during Barrett Jackson.

Congrats on what has to be the ultimate GT purchase.

I couldn't agree more! :-)

Lance

I love them - always will. :thumbsup

Congratulations, Lance & Greg.

Have you considered bringing Thomas Mutch to the Las Vegas Rally 9 - to show everyone what the cars can really do? Would love to see him again.

Thomas is a wonderful person, we enjoyed spending time with him, Steven and the Marc VDS team! You honestly couldn't have painted a better buying experience... During Vegas I'm sure we'll share the story with many of you!

Lance

way cool. congratulations.

Thank you! We're excited... the toughest part is the wait! I'm itching for the cars arrival!

Lance/DBK, Ken called saying all the Gt's as drivers will be parked around the Maytech cars over the weekend in one spot. Looks like we have 10 from the New York area.
There might be a special enforcement GT as well for photos.......
See you all there...Congrats again.

Put somebody in charge of color coordinating the arrangement.

Very very cool. Glad they found a good home.

How far is Carlisle from Philly?

Just for you Frank. But only this once. I have to stay on your good side. Never know when I might need an autopsy.
