Ford recently released this image head of the September 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show and to me it looks like it could be a new version of the GT. Doesn't look like the press thinks so, but to me the logo is real flat on the hood suggesting a very low ride height. Maybe I am just dreaming.............but it's good to dream!

Unrelated to the European reveal. The Europe thing is a "design concept", which means it's a new concept that will show off design cues soon to be included in the corporate design dna (like the Explorer America prior to the Explorer). Focus and Fiesta are both new, so that pretty much leaves the Mondeo/Fusion.

I guess will just have to wait till September.

This looks like a cool car to drive. I just bought a Fiesta and was thinking a Fiesta or Fusion with high HP would be a blast!

There's gonna be a bunch of cars incorporating lots of stuff from this in the near future. Just not a Ford GT.

More on the EVOS Concept

Here's some more information on the EVOS Concept:

"Sadly, this FPV Concept is just another vehicle in a long line of Australian muscle machines Americans will never get to buy."

...and there's no excuse for that being the case either. Beyond that, I say nothing.

This prototype has a lot of interesting ideas. Very cool!
