Guys, I'm looking for something more convenient than a microfiber or terry cloth towel to protect the GT's wheels when strapping it down in the trailer... (I run the strap through the wheel). I'd rather not have something custom made! Anyone know who sells such a thing?

Mac's Custom Tie Down's has a fleece sleeve that works well.

Thanks for the suggestions! Those fleece covers look like they'll work great!!
:cheers

roket - The Man - maybe you could get your sport shop to embellish the sleeves, left over from the Supercar vests, with GT logo for wheel tie down covers. .....just a thought:rofl

Glad I could help!

Go to any Auto parts store and purchase 4- covers made for sholder harness pads for older drivers. They are made of sheeps wool like material with velcrow that will wrap around the tiedown straps and work perfectly. I think they run about $10-12.00 each. Thats my .o2 Cents for the day. Tomy Hamon

tie downs

Jeff (thanks again) took the FR500C to the track on hus trailer and uses a "net" that went over the top of the wheel with tie downs front and rear. Worked great!:thumbsup
