Need help finding a yellow GT in San Antonio

I need some help tracking down a yellow (with black stripes) Ford GT in San Antonio. I spotted it at San Antonio Raceway on 11/18. I am a freelance photographer, and snapped a pretty nice shot of the car launching. One of the magazines I work for wants to run the photo along with a description of the car, its mods, what it ran, and the name of the car owner.

I know this is a long shot trying to find the car owner this way, but I figure it's worth a try since the GT is such a rare car. If you can help out in any way, please fill me in.

Thank you,

Stephen

Somehow this story just doesn't sound right. Too fishy.

I don't see how I'd benefit from fabricating a "fishy" story like this. When the time comes, check out the April '07 issue of Popular Hot Rodding magazine. You will see a shot of a yellow GT launching at the drag strip. Whether or not the car's mods, e.t., and the owner's name is printed depends on whether or not I can get in touch with the car owner, hopefully through the assistance of this forum.

I know a guy here in California that will let you take some awesome pictures of his yellow GT. I know of another GT guy that has a great camera - even though he did not post a picture of me and my son after the Cars & Coffee event. If you want, I can arrange for Randy and Dennis to get together and take some shots and sell them to you or the magazine.

Dennis and Randy - my fee is 10% I have to support Kendall's habits.:biggrin

Thanks for the offer, but I already have the shots I need. I'm just trying to track down the car owner.

He's not on here. I know the car you're talking about and the day you're talking about, but as far as I know he isn't a member here.

DBK, You're scaring me. How the heck do you know the owner of a car in San Antonio Texas and where he was on a certain day and what he was doing, when you live in Detroit and he's not a member of your forum? Do I need to start looking over my shoulder?

I think you're way too involved in this GT thing!:rofl

Because someone posted a video in the video section of a yellow GT at SAR raceway on 11/18. I'm just assuming if the guy was on the site, he would have chimed in that it was his car...

That and the the GPS locator I installed on your, I mean, his GT....:willy

OK. Thanks for the heads up.

Keith,
The IRS, the Architect, and Dave know all.:bow
I disabled the GPS device on my GT.:frown
I would advise you to do the same.:biggrin
