Muffler replacement question


Too loud. I actually drive my car regularly and on road trips.
 
Too loud,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,no such thing!!!!!!!!!
 
Also get some longer screws with 1/4 -1//2 inch spacers for your license plate.
Put the spacers between the plate and mounting holes . This will create some nice space for extra heat venting.
 
I did that 5 years ago. I think you recommended it then.
 
Just put a Heffner in today. Didn’t take bumper off but rear mesh grill, end diffuser pan to drop trans the 1”, rear mount on rear end, air box. That was it

took from when car came in to leave less than 4 hrs. No clamshell drop. 4th one I did for friends Heffner products keep getting better and better since I put mine in 2006

Handsome, you just put the Heffner now?
Its a lovely loud.....I did about 45,000 miles on 1316 with the heffner. Its is wonderful, when I get back in 1314 its so quiet, like a town car. Back in 2005 we thought the stock was loud!

Figures ya would think stock is loud where ya live :ROFLMAO:

I’ve put ~3 or 4 HefF’d in for the friends 👍

I’ve been running a Heffner since late ‘06. Still strong!

I understand, with all those deer and New Yorkers roaming around their now, you need something to make them jump! :)

ps the newer Heffner pipes have a better support bracket so they dont crack or seperate on track days.
