I thought I'd share a couple of photos depicting my fun day off dis-assembling someone elses car....

Step 1: Remove a couple of screw here and there and suddenly the dash is naked.

Step 2: Take the pieces over to a bench and keep on takin' stuff apart...

Step 3: Try to use up all of the screws and nuts you have.... then flip over the new panel...

Step 4. Find some color around to celebrate the Ewing "Made-in-America" components.

Step 5. Making it's first public appearance......

Kendall, you got B@!!s, I would not attemptr such a project.

I suppose mine is next, I hope Kip did not forget to sign it #2 :rofl, by the way I think Grandpa will be pretty happy with the results, I told him to put the Viagra away :biggrin

That GT is so fast that it's going 22 MPH even when it is standing still

running a cool 139 degrees too.

Looking good, Kendall! Mine is here along with the storage bin to be installed in August, OK? And of course, other goodies.

And no brains..... I really hope Kip takes awhile to get more of these made. I need time to forget how difficult this was. Maybe I need some Shadowman mojo-juice. It seems the car fought me at every step - resisting CF like it had some kind of Italian lineage that I was trying to force upon this proud legend.

Admittedly, however, the results are spectacular. I'll get some pics up today... although I'm not sure my photographic skills can do justice to how amazing this combination looks together.

Now it's back to Nav, back-up camera, Sirius, Bluetooth, subwoofer relocate.... I hope 'ol grandpa doesn't mind that all of these stereo modules have replaced the passenger compartment.

DAMN! Thats incredible! The FGT should have come with that from the factory.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Kip promissed mine end of next week :biggrin, but hey look at the bright side, I don't need a back-up camera like 'ol Grandpa :lol

I agree, but don't be so hard on the GT team, they had very little time to develop the car. :thumbsup

Finally got a chance to snap a few pics before the cars gets picked up later today. (Sorry about my poor photography skills.... the photos just don't do the interior of this car justice!)

The carbon fiber looks great!!! Congrats on your success. Crack a well deserved cold one and work on forgetting how hard it was to do.

Nah, this is the fastest of the GT colors... Tungsten.

I don't believe this customer posts too often, I'll let him chime in if he wants too.
