The Heritage car zoomed right up to $400K very quickly and then sort of hit a wall. Wierd.

It appears they never show anyone who bid or buys these cars. The bids go fast but still makes you wonder as questioned in earlier threads.

I think whenever a car rockets to right near the probable reserve and then dies, that pretty much speaks for itself.

I think Mecum has bought several FGT's and is trying to turn bucks on them, its all about the money.

If he did it looks like the strategy is paying off very well.

The 5600 mile White/Blue car in Kansas City a week ago did sell for $290,000. With the 8% fee, that is $313,200. I know the seller and it did go to an individual buyer, not Mecum Auction! Not posting for any reason other than information.

Pretty sure that's illegal; shill bids are fraudulent

Unless the bidder is wearing sign that says "AUCTIONEER" or house bid or something
