Change the logo.

Gentlemen,

To our members who haven't both attended and had an up close look at the people and preparation required to achieve a feat like this it would be hard to comprehend. Mark has assembled an entire team of the best in the business and this new record belongs to all of them but especially to Mark who put it all together (and paid for it!!). On the final day, get up, make coffee, make history, change the Texas Mile logo, and then go celebrate. Bravo Mark. :cheers

Wow Mark and M2K. Still amazes me the aero is stock. Bravo Ford. I don't know if the Ecoboost will be able to hit that mark! I'm sure if Mark gets a car they will try!!

Way to go now we all can say "I have one of those":lol

congrats Mark and the guys involved, I can't believe you guys are knocking on 300mph.... that would simply be unbelievable!!!

Nicely done

Thanks everyone. Chip is correct, we have the best guys assembled to do such a feat. Want to first say thanks to Kevin Kesterson (the 2K in M2K) who has done a fantastic job with all the design/fab/wiring etc. the driver, Patrick O'Gorman for being able to control such an animal on the track with tire spin at speeds above 250mph, Naoto Negeshi for the great MoTec support/tunning, and by all means no other engine builder on the planet but John Mihovetz of AccuFab can build such a motor. This is the same motor that's been in the car for the last 2.5 years and 6 mile events... Also I can't forget about the rest of the folks at M2K which include Peter DeSantis and Robbie Long who without there help and support none of this is possible. This is a full team effort and I am glad they let me tag along... There are a few videos on the U.S. Mile Facebook page as well as the M2K Motorsports Facebook site. Please check them out and if Ford is reading this, please give us a shot at a new one... I promise we won't dissapoint because we are not stopping here.... We Will post some videos once we get back in town ...

Thanks
MarkH
