About 400 miles ago, my 05 would shut down--usually on turns and I would have to refire. It went away 3-4 weeks back. It did it again while turning but

1.Tank was almost full (not below the 3/4 mark)

2.No codes and no check engine after the problem

3.Fuel fill apparatus seems fine --looks just like my 06.

Any ideas?? Thanks

Just a thought, double check your battery connections and ground. I remember you put the odyssey battery in. Maybe your battery is coming disconnected for some reason. Other than that, I am clueless. Doesn't sound like the fuel filler deal as that usually happens at stops, not going in corners

Is it speed specific?

Is it speed specific?

Not really but usually in slow turns.

while in gear or neutral?

while in gear or neutral?

I think more often in neutral.

This might not be the same but mine does the same when my O2 sensors need to be replaced (I use c16 all the time) If I am coming to a stop and put it in neutral and just before stopping it will sometimes die. When I have fresh o2 sensors it does not do this. I have never tried doing a turn in neutral so I don't know if mine does it too on a turn.

Do you use c16 or another kind of leaded race gas?

Stop turning in neutral. Problem solved ;)

It very well could be the o2 sensors. I could send some replacements for you to try. They are a very easy swap

I doubt I am turning in neutral but it is possible. It has done it while slowing for a light not just in turns. My guess is in. Turns I was in gear

I had an older muscle car that did the same thing. It turned out an electric wire grounded out during a turn, arched and shut down the engine. Started right up every time afterwards. It took a while to find the gremlin and I'm not sure you have the same issue just thought I would share.

Mine used to do this all the time when I got the car. Wasn't the fuel filler neck either. Never really figured it out but my car's been in the shop so many times for modifications that it eventually just went away. I almost had to sell the car it was so annoying.

GTdrummer - what mods, if any?

Pulley/tune/catback exhaust. Tune is a Torrie tune.

Correct. That is extent of all mods. Hennessey parts.

If that's one of my calibrations I can make IAC adjustments and I bet I can solve this calibration wise.

....negative ground at the chassis. Scrape away paint.

Calibration revision. email me [email protected]

Your Viper tech can help you with this Terry. Torrie will email you a revised tune. Your Viper tech should know how to download it into your SCT programmer and then update the tune in your car. This very well may fix your issue....
