Those are 20s on the rear of your matte car Bud.... :)

When you do 20s all the way around, does it look as good as going a staggerd look like a 19/20? It seems like if you went the same size all the way around with the body of a GT, it would look strange.

There's a bunch of 19/20 combos that my buddy Rob set up on some GT's in Calgary. Pics here: http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?20048-Some-wheel-alternatives-for-our-GT-s

I went 19" front to clear the brakes and 19" rear to have the lightest wheel and tire combo for the street and track. I run pilot sport cups in the front and Hoosiers on the rear even on the street My goal was lightest performance set up.

A very good street set up would be 19" front 20" rear. There are good tire options with this setup. I would stay away from a 20" wheel in the front does not leave you much side wall. = harsh ride a and easy to damage. There are good Michelin Pilot Super Sport options in the 19/20" combo.

wheels staggered always are a safe bet but the tire size combos can make a big difference as well...

ooops :willy

Im running a 20x13 rear with a 4" lip and 20x9 in the front.
Same here - 345/20 rears and 275/19 fronts

Running Pilot Super Sports 19/20" Fronts were perfect replacement height and rears were 3/8" lower from center to outside...which I fixed with the T/A lowering kit.

Here -- before the T/A lowering kit...

20" front will be a harsh ride - did it on my Z06 and hate it.

20 fronts here and they feel no different than stock did.

While we're on the subject- what size do you think these are? They almost look like they're bigger in the front than the rear. May just be the tire sidewalls playing tricks on my eyes but it really looks like 19s or 20s in the front and 18s or 19s in the rear. Definitely has a cool stance though, and I love to color combo

JayGT and FBA,

With the extra width of the wheels, where was it added? All to the inside? 50/50 inside and outside?

Anyone one know the width of the GTX1 wheels and how it was backspaced?

when you run 20/20 or 19/19 combinations in some wheels they give the illusion of the fronts being bigger depending on the tire selection as well..

my bet is that they are the same size but the lower profile front tire and the fatter rear tire give the illusion of the front wheel being bigger...

had this issue with some wheel sets in the past...

This was my concern, especially the way the GT is designed. I think I am going 19/20.
