Any of you guys (or gals) also collect and play guitars? Here are some pics of my VOS '59 sunburst flametop.

She is quite good at a lot of things - I bet she'll have no problem with that request, as long as it comes from the right person.

Looks like she switched instruments on you.

She can only keep one warm at a time. Unfortunately, even the best tech can have her limitations. :thumbsup

I've got one black SG standard and a 61' SG reissue. I love playing a Les Paul but I find them too hard to swing wildly when I'm doing flips and jumping from balconies...

Hmmm... just like Angus Young! Noice!

Since a vintage '59 flametop is now $250K or better, they are impossible to play.... Give the new VOS Lesters a try - they are very sweet and since 2006 they have the new PLEK'd boards.....there are also some 'Stinger' issues coming up 4 sale once in a while ( a modern classic limited production).

And the Pete Townshend windmills play heck on the fingertips.................:thumbsup

You're awful cheeky having it that close to the fire!

true, but at least I was thoughtful enough to get the girl to move before I turned the fireplace on! That's the sign of a good upbringing.

Beautiful axe! Don't even get me started on my collections! I have about 15 guitars in my collection, two are Les Pauls. One is an Anniversary edition (forgive me as I forget what year!), the other is a sunburst just like yours that I bought in Hollywood along side Dweezle Zappa, who purchased another just like it. My wife thinks I'm nuts as I collect guitars, guns, Swiss watches, motorcycles, and cars. She's just happy that I don't collect women too.

Guitars are certainly a lot cheaper than women. And they don't sue for divorce when you bring a new one home.

Tim, can you post some pics of your two LP's?
