Over a month has gone by since my trip to California Where I got to see the results of the arduous work Shadowman performed on my FGT. I was overwhelmingly pleased with what he had done for me and although i'm not usually at a loss for words I found my self searching for the right one's to express my gratitude for both the hospitality recieved while i was there and the modifications made to the car. Just when I thought I had died and gone to heaven I started to meet people I only knew by Forum names. Names like Black ICE, Sandman, Ed Simms, Triheart7 and Piana to name a few.
WOW what a group!!!! I can't tell ya what a great bunch of guy's they were and how much they went out of their way to make sure my Northern California tour was no less then perfect.
Between getting used to a totally new car and driving on roads i didn't know existed, adverse weather, and beautiful sceanery there was never a dull moment.
Thanks again Shadowman for the new car, Ed for orchestrating the tour,Kelly for taking 900 pictures, Clinten for making me laugh almost continuously, Dave Helilinge of Harrold Ford for the escort home in the fog, Dave A, Tom P, and Kevin T for showing me how slow I am and last but not least REALLY, None of this would have ever happened if it wasen't for the Forum

The very left is Dave Hellenge, Owner of Harold Ford Sacramento and the best Ford Dealer I have ever met. Ed bought his GT, and we both bought our Raptor and Taurus SHO's from Dave. Next is Sandman. Next is Myself Triheart7, and my GF Sandy in the orange fleece (Yes, Frank there was one woman on the trip; she was quite a trooper with all of the high speed turns we made).

Last on the right is our fearless leader Ed Sims, who threw a nice dinner party in honor of Lorenzo Friday night attended by other GT people including Cannibal, Shadowman as well as families and loved ones.

Lorenzo took this picture so his GT on the right is unaccompanied. Piana, was on the drive the day before, and Black Ice joined the group on Sunday.

This was a fun group of cruises(I went on the first two). It was great to hang out with other members of the forum and show off Northern California to a well travelled guy from Nebraska.

You're welcome Lorenzo! Thanks for being our excuse to have a good time with our GTs & friends. It was a lot of fun & I'll always have great memories of that weekend.

Ed

PS Your DA engine by Shadowman is wicked! Sounds phenomenal & it rips!

Not yet, for some reason I have not done that yet, someday I will possibly remove the bumper. I was the only GT with a bumper this weekend. Hey I deleted the side stripe, because it was chipping, so I thought I would try that look.

Larry informed me I made a mistake and that Sandman was in his car already, and that shadowy individual second from the left, with the hat is actually is Lorenzo. As you can see, we were about to get in the cars and head for Lunch!

Isn't that the same woman I met before? If it isn't, you seem to have a knack for finding twins.

Enjoyed the drive and the company! Larry, bring that beast out here again as their is still plenty to see, more coast or in the spring/summer/fall the mountains. We have to get you back out of the grid of Nebraska roads!

Hey, don't blame me for that! Vegas can make you wild. Salt Lake City will be a calmer environment!
