Hopefully Kip doesn't mind me posting these up. I got a chance to look at the CF pieces up close today during a "car guy" breakfast at Kip's house. The CF tunnel looks awesome. The pics definitely don't do it justice because the contrast with the red exterior just looks very race inspired. Hard to gauge just how different it looks in pics, but it looks awesome. The interior door panels were not yet mounted.

And a couple other nice shots...an original GTX1 sketch...

The black GT next to mine belongs to Peter Horbury, the director of design for Ford's North American brands. Talked to him briefly. Nice English gent.

Greetings Dave

No I don't mind you posting the pics at all.
You saved me the effort.
Thanks for coming out.

To everyone who has expressed interest, I appreciate you patience.
I have been really busy finishing this first set, and not abandoning Emily and Lucas. Oh, yah, and cooking breakfast for 30 people this morning.......

I've got to go the shop right now and finish the door trims.
I'll have shots of the door as well as some of the AC controls lit up.
With the light pipes, white graphics and carbon, there is a lot of drama.

That figures! The moment I sell mine, carbon fiber is available.:lol
Everyone knows that I am the Carbon junky here.

Looks exactly how I pictured it. It's freakin awesome!:cheers

The one place I also think needs carbon is the plastic inner door panel.
It would really set the interior off.

I received my carbon tunnel & door trims, and they look fantastic! First rate quality. I am sending my car back to Jack at Muscle Motors next week to install them along with a long list of other stuff. I'll post how it turns out. I believe by replacing the large sections of magnesium with carbon, the interior will look more balanced. I have always felt the big sections of magnesium cheapened the look of the interior. They'll still be plenty of magnesium accent for that original look, switches, door handles, hand brake bezel, etc. Can't wait to get more carbon parts from Kip!!! :thumbsup

Thanks for keeping the dream alive Kip! It's good to see that design development activities continue long after the car has finished its run.

DBK, Whose locker doors are those, I wanna tear the doors off so as not to dusturb the pictures. Those renderings are awesome. So is the Carbon fiber work. Especially that closeup of the Graphics against the control knobs. Sweet!

It's OK to bother...

Hey Bony

You forgot about the side scoops in carbon fiber, too.
I'll have some of those in California, as well.
I've not set pricing just yet, as I am to assemble the first set this weekend.

I am working feverishly on your parts.
They will be ready! You are going to dig the tunnel.....

For anyone else reading, I have the McIntosh enclosure in carbon available now too.
