No kidding about the truck. I have had a Tundra for several years. 1/2 ton truck just doesn't cut it with the 4000 lb Jim Glo with a 3000+ car and extras in the back. Truck pulls on the flats ok but suffers on hills and overpasses. Selling the Tundra to my brother in law and just made a deal on new 2019 F250 Lariat diesel. Proven motor and transmission. Getting a sway bar and level kit. Now I won't even know the trailers back there.

Have a 2017 F350, and a 38' enclosed gooseneck and when loaded with 2 cars, it's frightening that you can still accelerate up hills. You will like that truck. Im curious about the 10 speed, but will wait a few years before going there.

I replaced my 2018 Raptor with a King Ranch 2019 F250 diesel to pull my 28' ATC (9,000 trailer with no car). I added lift bags and sway bars too.

That’s why I want a 2019. Proven drive train. With 900 ft lb, 6 speeds are enough.

Nice spring day. Bought a F250 Lariat. Four Fords in the garage with a fifth on the way 😎

I like my 6 speed F150 better than my wife’s 10 speed Navigator. The six speed has never missed a gear, while the 10 speed sometimes will get hung up in one of the many gears, and it also feels like never ending shifting.

Very nice, all. I just received the 2020 F350 I ordered last fall for hauling my chit around, and so far I am VERY impressed with the quality, ride, amenities, and POWER. 1050 lb-ft of torque! Time will tell if the 10-speed auto is a winner or not, but so far I have no gripes. Traded in my Ram 2500 diesel, which I had zero problems with, but it rode like an ox cart.

I trade-in my F-Series Crew Cab every year. I used to tow a 24' all-aluminum Gold Rush, but I just took delivery of a 24' Sundowner.

When Ford introduced the aluminum F-150 in 2015, I bought one. A friend of mine, who was an engineer at Ford, pushed me to get the EcoBoost TT V-6 in the F-150. He told me that the EcoBoost TT would haul like a locomotive... which it did! I tow my cars about 23K-25K miles per year. I can tell you that the EcoBoost had no problems towing at all... including through the Grand Tetons and Rockies! In the middle of the country, I will run about 75-79mph. At this speed, and with the trailer loaded, the EcoBoost was getting about 6mpg. The gas mileage was my only complaint, but then I didn't buy the truck for its fuel economy!

In 2016, I decided to try an F-250 diesel. My mpg jumped to 11.5 when towing at speed. I have never had any problems to speak of with any of my F-Series trucks. Sure, I only own them for a year, but they are getting relatively heavy use.

The power wars among Ford, GM, and Chrysler have resulted in trucks with insane torque numbers. My 2019 F-250 was nuts with 935ft/lbs. My 2020 has 1050ft/lbs, making it difficult, at times, to pull away without spinning the tires.

I took delivery of the 2020 F-250 about two months ago. Because of COVID-19, the truck has only just over 5K miles on it. It is probably still too early to tell, but the 10 speed is just fine so far. It shifts a lot, but it has almost 70% more gears to run through than the 6 speed did.

I will report back if I have any transmission issues.

9k empty!

My 24' ATC is only like 3,1XX empty. You must have a ton of goodies in yours.

Just broke in when you let them go. I am going to get a 250 power stroke next time. Although my favorite was the 350 dually 4x4 loaded. All of them would stay flat in a tornado and corner like a shifter cart with a trailer loaded. :) Ok a bit exaggerated
