Just got off the phone with the hotline...now I know why FORD is in trouble as a company...
The person exhibited poor customer service, was not understanding, and was not willing to do anything for me about the bolts.
They would not acknowledge the problem, but admitted that they can tell you if you have the upgraded parts. How and why would they do this if there was no problem.
Then they claimed they could do nothing unless the problem occurred in my car. So they recommended that I continue to drive it until it happens. Well, I can tell you that if I am doing some spirited driving, and this happens in a turn I would likely total the car and put myself and the passenger at risk.
So, in the end they are going to do nothing for me. Unbelievable. What are you guys saying to get them to cover it under warranty?
