In the interest of full disclosure, I bought Tim's blue car and (finally) removed the side stripes this year. As Shelby predicted, I've had about a dozen people ask me what type of car it is since the stripes were removed!:lol

I am pretty sure the side stripes will come off like you did to my old car. You can always replace them later if you want.
