The GT40 will go for a GAGILLION DOLLARS.......Cannot wait to see what it will bring, I know 2 of the players, it will be a testosterone fest on that one.
Maytech will be just as interesting. Its in un charted territory.

Anyone want to guess the hammer price for each? Maybe a poll?

550 - a poll for the total price of all 5 would be interesting.

My guestimate is $4.1 m

$10 million for the 1965 GT Prototype Roadster

Well I guess you are only limiting this thread to Ford products. That same RM auction has a '65 Ferrari 275 GTB/C listed and it will smoke just about anything at Monterey for top price. Oh that is except the Ferrari 250 GTO listed by Bonhams. Bonhams at Quail Lodge will have ten autos from the Maranello Rosso Collection.

And of course there are all sorts of wonderful rides such as Cobras, a few 300 SL's, Jag E-types....

Mecum has a digital format available online and Auctions America has many autos from the former Pond Collection including a red GT and several recreations.

But the Auctions America is in Burbank at the end of this month.

Damn that yellow no stripe GT would look good next to my yellow CGT!

Wouldn't it!! :thumbsup :thumbsup

Lot 147 in the RM Auction is a Texas GT. I know the owner very well and is from Longview, Texas. Very unusual GT, Yellow with no miles and no stripes. Said to be one of 2 built in that combination. Beautiful Car from a very nice collector who ownes many Shelby automobiles. Before Carroll Shelby got sick and passed away, Carroll went to this collector to see his collection and spent the day with him. Probably one of his last visits with a collector. I'll try to find a picture of collectors Shelbys and post it. If your looking for a very unusual GT here it is and brand new.

Shelby collection

Found the picture of a very nice Shelby collection in Longview, Texas. Notice the Shelby backdrop which was given to him by Carroll on his visit. Everything in this collection is First Class and originals. Note 427 and 289 Cobras. Only Ford GT he has but is going to purchase one to drive very soon with miles. Enjoy.

Yellow GT from Longview, Texas in the RM Auction sold yesterday for $375,000 plus 10% comission. Talked to the owner this morning and he told me he was very happy as he had lot #159 the 1967 Tiger Mk ll in the auction which brought a world record price of $225 plus 10% comission. A very nice car.

Wow!! $375k plus 10%!! Prices are going up again, looks like.

That was wild. Who could have guessed that?

Unreal number for the yellow!:thumbsup Easy to day after prognosticate on the roadster proto type but of all the "collectible" GT40's this one is my least favorite so I'm not blow away by the lower price. The Lola will be interesting to watch (very cool IMO) as well as the bad-ass Matech car. Good luck to the sellers! Fun stuff.

At Mecum yesterday a White/Blue stripe GT with 30 miles, sold for $280K

Is any of this on tv or webcast? We have Direct TV, but I've never figured out how to find anything.

On Mecum's website now.

RM broadcast from their website as well.

:thumbsup Thanks Dave!

$510K for the 100 mi Heritage!!! :eek

Any idea when Lance and Greg's Matech goes on the block?
