Tim, I want to be a stunt man to, let me know what I need to do. Or perhaps I could be a body double, let me know if they ever need an Orson Welles stand in.:willy
Larry, go ahead, every day you take a shot, means one more day of looking at Senator, Mrs. Bill Clinton:banana :willy :willy :willy :banana
"Take a shot"? Why, to whatever could you be referring, Your Rotundness?:shrug
(What the REAL DEAL here is: you can't figger out how to change th' dang thing! :rofl )
And,.... oh by the way, I have lost 100lbs as of yesterday morning... and hopefully the bitch will never come back:banana :willy :banana , not really, just a great diet.
ok Larry, I tortured you enough, besides, it really hurt me more than you...
remember that line of :bs ? She is gone, now be a good boy, consider it an olive branch. And,.... oh by the way, I have lost 100lbs as of yesterday morning... and hopefully the bitch will never come back:banana :willy :banana , not really, just a great diet.
Ok I can't resist. My neighbor came by the other day and says he has seen my car and asked what it was, I said it was a Ford GT, he says oh thats one of those new Shelby Mustangs, and I said well ya! for 39k sticker ford is making a hell of a car!, Bob then borrows my tractor and leaves. The next day he comes over with my tractor with a bottle of wine and said he went to the ford dealer to see about ordering one. he hands me the wine and said paybacks are hell!:rofl ( been pulling jokes on each other for 25 years)
YIKES!!!!!!!!! I didn't realize you were THAT "RocKman, Sir!!!!!!:eek Your Macho-ness!! Your celebrityship!! Your Movieness!!!
I hereby take back whatever offensive comments I may have ever made in your direction IN JEST here on the Forum, Sir! Heavy emphasis on the, "IN JEST", if you'll please notice????:bang :bang :bang :bang :bow :bow :bow
That is what I was asked last night... you betchya!! I stopped at a gas station on the way home from work last night. I was working on a tv show called Jericho and was still in make up, looking pretty much like a bumb. this guy comes up to me and says, "so this is like a 40 thousand dollar car right?" I said politely, "NO" He said, "60K (fading out proper typing now) I told him to add 100K to that... Well he couldn't believe I would pay that much for a mustang gt.. So I corrected him politely again and he said so its a cobra??? Have you guys laughed enough?
So he honestly looked me up and down, because remember, I look like a dirty bumb and asked me what I do for a living? I said a stuntman. He then asked what year my car was and I said 2005. Oh, so you still have payments on it? No, I paid in full... He drove off telling me he wanted to be a stuntman.........:eek :rofl :confused
Enjoyable story? please share yours.. this was the funniest thus far
'Depends on HOW the "cost" question is asked, 04. Really. It does. Some folks are just so in awh of these cars they blurt out what they THINK they said to themselves!:biggrin I don't have a pblm with it. But, I don't quote the exact dollars & cents either. If they "guess" $40K, I just tell 'em that'd make a good down payment, smile, and leave it at that.
If I'm asked what I "do", I tell them, "As little as possible". (Shoot! At MY age - they don't press it beyond that !!!!!!)
I'm going to take flack from the Ferrari owners here on the Forum for stating this, but, you're going to be stunned at how much more SOLID and impressive the GT seems/is over the 360. The Ferrari (again, sorry guys, just MHO) just feels too "twitchy" to me. Kinda like a cat "wide eyed" on speed. And it's suspension seems waaaay too "reactionary" - if that's even the word I wanna use. It JOLTS over stuff the GT simply, "takes appropirate notice of" ... if you get my meaning. And the POWER!!!! WELL! We needn't even bring that up!:lol
Hahaha!:lol That's just a coincidence. We may weight the same, but he is a tad more cut than I am.:biggrin :lol

Wow, after seeing the Top Gear video when they drove from FL to LA, that outfit can get you killed if you stopped for gas in Alabama! In SF you would be viewed as eccentric, but not bothered, except being ask for a date by some people you may rather not associate with.
