Pretty amazing.... great post.
We have a neighbor that has a full machine shop and builds micro motors and machines.
Just finished a small stem engine about a foot long, six inches wide and 8 inches tall that works. It took him three years to build working on it almost every day... amazing gentleman.

Its amazing what one can do when that person has a dream. I would think that car would bring CRAZY money to the right person.

I have to say if I was fabulously wealthy and halfway liked that model (type of Ferrari) I would offer him a large amount of money for it. The dedication he has is far better than anyone I have ever seen. Guys like that are few and far between. The guy should be rewarded just for his dedication.
 
did you guys here that last bit, about him wanting to do another possibly a ford gt40? how cool would that be?
 
Ford should hire this man today and make him head of manufacturing.

He had to make castings, molds, oil pumps, fittings and gears. Every part would be a learning experience I dont know if anyone has ever done. Water jackets fuel paseages. Engineering.....I cannot begin to wrap my brain around it all.

That's the thing I've noticed about the Ferrari Club of Las Vegas pictures. Those poor girls must come from some pretty unfortunate homes, or else is just plain, really hot all the time. Why it looks as if they're always wearing just their underwear. Poor things.:biggrin
