Did these books come with all 2005 models?
 
The dealers got them with the cars in '05. I don't think it's ever been determined if there was one per car or not. Mnay of the owners never got them cause the dealers hung on to them. They pop up on e-bay from time to time, usually for ridiculous money.
 
Thanks, I ask because I talked with my dealer (I bought the car on August 11th) about the book. They said they had heard of such a book but one did not come with the car when they received it. They said they would look for one. My impression from the posts here is that it was a hit and miss kind of thing. If it did come with all the 2005 cars, would it have been stored in the car or in a separate package given to the dealer? I know this is a detailed question, but I thought someone who helped build the car would read this and perhaps know the answer.

They were NOT in the car or included with the car. It was dealer stuff, like the Titus DVD you can't get a hold of. Some of the old posts here discuss getting a copy of the book. There may even be a "part" number.
 
I have an ,05 car and so does 2 friends in my area. The books were given ahead of time to each dealer that had an '05 allotmant. Whether they turned them over to the eventual owner was up to the dealer.
 
I wish some one would put up a few pictures of the book and some video from the Rick Titus dvd. That would be fun too look at and watch.
 
'05 GT book

My dealer gave me the book after I bought my '05 from him. It came wrapped in plastic. It's cool with little flip up & also fold out pages. My dealer says there is a part # for it & he thinks it can be ordered from Ford.

goosh you spoiled it I was going to ebay with mine.

Yea the book was suppose to be sent to all dealers and an extra one for every allocation the store recieved. Who knows were they all went. It is a nice piece.

So i guess the ebay price won't rise much it was 300$/ last i looked

Wow, very generous offer. It was for a pal's b-day and I bought them something else. I hung in there till about $250 and then took a stupid inventory.
