Mark.... you OK?

I'll be down this week in Dallas - drinks on me.......

hope you're ok thats all that matters...everything else is replaceable/fixable!

Ego heavily damaged... car, one bent diffuser.

I see you got the 4xWheel drive option!!:ack

With your bent for sensational headlines, you should be writing copy for a newspaper.

I noticed toward the end you mantioned "1st time off the track".... Well in racing / track days etc. usually is not a matter of "if", be a matter of "when". The good news, as you able to drive out, I would anticipate that you had a lot of damage? And MOST Important you and the passenger appeared to be OK.

No damage other than one cracked rear diffuser. Luckily, I had the car wrapped earlier this week so no paint damage. I have removed all the belly pans and the car looks unharmed. My ego is another story. :bored

I would not beat your self up too much, I just looked at the incident a couple times, I do not know the track you were at, but you did not appear to be off line, did you lift when it was blind and as the car got light? I could not hear the engine revs just befroe the spin.

'Glad that's ALL that happened!!! I was thinking/envisioning you'd been in a REAL WRECK, you turkey! :slap :willy:willy:willy

That kinda thing can sure happen QUICK, can't it... :eek:willy

1. Was that the same Porsche in the beginning that was ahead of you in the TWS video? :lol
2. You didn't have your 80's music going.......probably why you went weed cutting......fix that next time ummmkay.
3. Man card still intatct......you damaged your car while doing manly stuff on a track.

These cars can take ALOT more abuse than that and still be fine. Trust me.

Motorsport Ranch in Cresson it looks like.

Glad you're OK and glad the damage wasn't worse!

Glad you, your passenger, and car are well.

Sounds like a more fun way to damage a rear diffuser than backing over a parking lot stop - not that I know anyone who has done that :)

Glad you came out ok!

The passenger was an 'instructor.' I think a "BRAKE BRAKE BRAKE" would have been in order before the hill but that how it goes. I'll have to give him the big brass cajoles award for getting back in the car with me after that. I did a shake down run after that incident to make sure nothing felt funny. Then drove 60 miles home. GT is built FORD TUFF.

Man.... sorry about the incidence, it looked like you caught a little air. Glad you and Gt are-a-ok!!

I took the liberty of doing this for you. I hope you dont mind:wink

Hey stuff happens...all turned out well and you have a great story with video!

I am glad you are ok. I appreciate your giggle/laugh @ 4:39. Very cool calm collect. Good thing you didn't do what Kasey Kahne did yesterday at Pocono.

Thanks for sharing.

Kill em all......and let God sort em out :dead:

Fubar - Master of Understatement?

Glad to hear that nobody was injured (ego not included:rofl).

And that it happened on a racetrack.

Damage is an easy fix. Just a few $$$$.
