Ok I purchased this a few months back (got all the paperwork authenticating it from the team) and I have now secured a Jeff Gordon raced motor to go with the car from Hendricks. The car is the actual 2002 Lonney Tunes car that Gordon raced, except it has the retro paint job. The reason that I chose not to transform it back to the Looney Tunes paint scheme is because he also raced it with this scheme and it's hand painted. That is one heck of a paint job to reverse.
I purchased it through a friend who is aquiring these for museums and private collections , I can tell you that not many have been sold this way. So I find myself in possesison with a neat piece of history and one I intend to take on the track myself. I can not disclose how much I paid for the car but I can tell you it was not cheap but was also not as expensive as you might imagine.
I am having it finshed for the track and I hope to have for it an event in December.
Enjoy pics of the new toy!
