Hello GT Owners;
Just got my 05 GT .
The previous owner did not know for sure if the T/A bolts have been changed.
After researching the forum it looks like the ACCUFAB replacements are allen type with star heads and wide washers that cover two bolts. Fortunately that's what I have.

Having said that and to be absolutely sure that they are not stock bolts.

What do the stock bolts look like ?

Does anyone remember?

The factory marks each bolt with an ink line of a certain color, the lines go across the bolt and the flange. If the lines don't line up it indicates the bolts were at least worked on.

The OEM bolts are silver in color and are Allen-head bolts. The Accufab outer bolts are black with 12-pt heads - NOT Allen heads.

As usual very helpful
Thanks

There is an extremely long thread with picture on this topic. Search can be your friend.

Here is a photo of the OEM bolts that came out of my car. The previous owner installed Accufab bolts, but I do not know what they look like.

Can any one offer some feed back of the Accufab bolts?

The 2 inner bolts look like the old OEM ones, BAD!

The 6 outer bolts also look like OEM, and are once use bolts.

Buy a set of Accufab ARP bolts. They can be reused, whereas the Ford ones cannot.

Unfortunately that's what I have for inners. Outers are black 6 point hex.
Thanks 6s219 the scenario is coming together.

Thanks for the pics

I would be concerned. Neither Ford nor Accufab ever used 6 point hex outers. A previous repair could have used "Home Depot" parts. :ack
