A new car. I cannot comment on the RE050's but the Hoosiers make a huge difference (r6). So if you are concidering it and you don't drive in the rain:thumbsup

Hoosiers

Canuck - As all know on this forum for any time I am a Hoosier fan (hey, made in the USA like our GTs!). They were there at the beginning & produced the rear tire just for us! Too sticky, too cool! On a dry road there is no comparison.

Ed,
How do you find the R6's at the limit of adheresion? I find them less progessive breaking away than other semi-slicks.

Hoosiers

Heritage Bruce - The only tires I have run on my GT are the Hoosier R6, OEM Goodyears & G-19 Goodyear slicks. The R6s seem very predictable & really require no warm up. With less than 5-6 heat cycles they grip quick on a warm track &, to me, give good notice on their limits. A very nice tire.
