Thanks man !

It is the first time I must say that I like the red color, despite it is for me reserved for Ferrari forever.. But the car needs to have the standard wheels to go with the red dress, otherwise i wouldn't want one like that...Still, blue is cool and elegant, and white looks good with lightweight BBSes//

Looks like you don't have any shots from the Ford Centennial-I'll locate mine and post them-I have shots of the Red, White & Blue cars without the ropes up and with a couple of the Ford SVT folks-but I don't know the names.

lovely you can send me them or just go to imageshack.us and upload them then copy the thumbnail on forum link and post 5 pics in a row

You know I swore your were from Forza central. :thumbsup

Taken at Backus Ford in Syracuse, New York

Bird, nice birds! I always loved that era of T-birds. Bet that bottom one is one hell of a surprise on the street :cheers

Good pics of the living legends. Should have built the Forty-nine.

Hey Guys, Hope you like some of the pictures I took of the GT. These are from the Ford 100th Anniversary Celebration in 2003.

#1 Is I "think" the first GT built. It went to Bill Ford, on the door sill it was engraved "Expressly Built For Bill Ford"
#2 Same as above
#3 Is the first 3 GT's Built lined up to go on stage complete with a police escort.
#4-5 Same as above
#6 Is a picture of the stage
#7 A far zoom of the stage. Standing is Jackie Stewart, John Colletti and Carroll Shelby
#8 Same as above but with Nick Scheele talking about the cars.
#9 One more of the GT's onstage.

Here are a few more of Bill Ford's GT. GT Serial number #00001

Nice pics! Bill's car is actually the White/Blue one. I was told the original centennial car had it's VIN taken off and applied to his 2005, and the cenntenial was subsequently repainted several times and used as a traveling showpiece.

Great picture Shoman - it makes you realise what an important car the GT is for Ford with such huge PR. It kind of throws into contrast some of the dealer experiences!

See thats what I thought. I have read in several places that Bill's is the white/blue GT. But what is that red one then with the engraving ? Is the centennial car the red one with the number 1 in a circle?

They built three cars for the centennial. The engraving is on the sill plates of the white blue car. It sits in the underground garage at WHQ along with several other "firsts" he owns like the 1st SN95, the first S197 coupe, first S197 vert. His last Stang that I know of had the same sill plate treatment.

I want the wheels of this car. Would they be the prototype wheels or the concept wheels of the concept car? Either way, do you know how I get a hold of a set??

Desperately seeking concept rims!!! :confused
