Most possible buyers, although not by much. They'll build a bunch of 720S cars. They've already built the 8,000th Huracan!

That's astounding! No wonder ist gen FGTs are so valuable.

Chances are, even if you bought a NFGT or a 720S, you would still be interested on the new 6sp GT3.

Gentlemen,

Reading the production numbers posted here really drives home how rare and special the new Ford GT is. Literally a drop in the bucket compared to the # of McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche cars produced every year. The Triple Yellow GT on that cover looks great. I think my Speed Yellow NFGT will look even better. It will go into production very soon and will be at the Rally. Cheers.

Chip - is it a large difference from the Speed yellow to the Triple yellow? I didn't realize there were two yellows. How is it compared to the '05-06 yellow?

it's one of very few that can be your daily driver.

So, that must mean Chip has a custom color on his NGT to match his '05-06 GT.

Ed,

As mentioned above, Speed Yellow is the color of my 2006 GT and my new GT is being painted to match it. The Triple Yellow currently being used on Mustangs and the GT has a lot of green in it and it's not quite as bright. Speed Yellow has a lot of red in it and especially in the shade it's got a lot more pop IMO. The photo below shows Speed Yellow on the right with the black stripes and Triple Yellow on the left. Cheers.

Chip

Great idea to match not only the scheme of your original car but also the exact paint color. Most would have left it at the scheme. That's going to be a great looking pair.

Speed yellow rocks.

Agreed!

It's kind of hard to tell from the photos of the samples above- are there photos of a speed yellow gt next to a triple yellow gt yet?

Hopefully Chip will be the first to get speed yellow and do a photo shoot with a triple yellow GT

Gentlemen,

I will definitely have the first Speed Yellow NFGT. I understand that the tub of my GT is finished but it is doubtful that it will be finished in time to get it to Rally 12. The delay is my doing as I did not delete the Titanium exhaust and it has not been available. As it's still not available I finally did delete it and that started production of my car. I gambled it would be available soon and lost but it's all good. Crazy but one of the first things I think about when I wake up every morning is, "I've got a new GT coming!" and that brings me great joy.

I also received a call from Henry Ford III telling me that they were doing everything possible to get my car to R12 but it's doubtful. I expected a call to inform me about my GT's progress but I didn't expect it to come from Mr. Ford!!!

Did I mention I've got a new Ford GT on the way?? I'm glad I'm alive.
