I am amazed by the car.

It was a bit stressful getting her off the truck . :wink After taking her around the neighborhood for a while I am a bit tired right now and just want to go to bed....I'll post some more pictures tommorrow.

I'd love to see a photo of your car with the top on. I have never seen a GTX1 that way. Congratulations on finally getting your car! :thumbsup

Isn't that funny that we love to see our women with their tops off... but in this case... I agree.. Lets see her with her top on... I've never seen her either with the top on... They're all a bunch of wh_res!!!:rofl
 
I love your car - it's one of a kind and ridiculously beautiful.

If I had it, I'm not sure I'd ever drive it! It's WAY too nice for that!! :cheers :biggrin

i plan on buying another gt this year
looking for the right color and right deal, as soon as i see it, it will be in my garage
in lieu of that, i'm also considering having the conversion done to it
the only problem i have is that i still to date have not seen the roof panel for this conversion, and if it exists, i have not heard how well it fits and looks.
does anyone have pictures or first hand info on this elusive roof panel ???

Ok , sorry for the delay. I still have not been able to properly photograph the car and it has barely stopped raining since I got her.

The roof that was provided with the car is version 1.0 (some issues are being addressed)

That is not the final version of the roof. Because it is not the final version, I immediately took it off the car (why risk scratches etc...messing with it). There is a picture of the finshed version on the GTX1 front page. they need to expand the pic a bit.

Guys I tracked down these two pics of a GTX1 with a roof. Some of you have never seen it. I should have my final roof in about 45 days

Are those pictures digitally created or real photos? It still looks like there is no rear window? Does your roof have one?

I applaud the effort of the design team that created the topless GT. I saw one in person at the Rally in Detroit. I was a little disappointed with the fit and finish but assumed this was a protoype/pre-production version. I have yet to see the roof on the car and the rear window. Personally, I could never have someone saw the roof off my car without knowing with 150% certainty that the final product would look OEM, not fly off at speeds and come with a window so it could be driven in all weather conditions. I hope you are satisfied with the final product. Please keep us posted once you receive the final top and rear window. I know that Gennadi has been talking about the roof and window for about a year, but haven't seen anything yet.
 
No they are not digitally created from what I know . I do have a final of the window and I guess I can take pics and post it. Its one piece and slides in. I would never say I do not want the roof but it became a lot less important when I received the car. I live in Florida and will never drive it in rain , even with a roof.
