Sam the house looks great. I envy you with all of that garage space.
I have to give you a lot of credit in firing the contractor and managing the work yourself. I went through a major remodel and was on-site almost daily for a few hours. I caught many of the errors before they happened, but not nearly as many I as should have. Most of the people building homes either don't have any real knowledge of correct design or execution of one, or plain don't give a sh*t!
p.s. Just think of how many BMWs you can now own in secret bays beneath the floors.
