GT3 Final - Zolder, Belgium - 10/24-25/09

At the final competition at Zolder, Belgium:

In the 1st Race, Ford GT's finished 3rd, 6th and 11th.

In the 2nd Race, Ford GT's finished 3rd, 9th and a DNF.

In difficult racing conditions (rain) Phoenix Racing's Christopher Haase and Christopher Mies brought their Audi R8 home in 4th place to clinch the 2009 FIA GT3 European Drivers Championship.

The next season will start at Silverstone (England) on May 2, 2010

Matech GT3 overall Season Finish

Matech actual finish GT3 class for the season Vice Champion as they say.
2nd place, first loser, But I know the Matech is doing a complete new GT1
car for next year. Looks more like the Production GT's cars.
New aero Dinamic's.
I'm betting these cars will be winners all season.

I wish Matech would make some of these photos available as posters or sell high res versions so that I could print them off. I have a commercial print shop and would be willing to do a project for the GT owners benefit. They'd make great artwork for the garage and could actually create a revenue stream for Matech.

Love that last photo of the white GT (w/red headlight surrounds). Reminds one of the paint scheme on the original GT40's of the 60's. :thumbsup
