Hi Fred

Hope all is well. Just took delivery of my new C7 Vette. Posted a picture of GT with the Vette, to a Vette forum.

Further down in the thread someone had asked me to compare the two.

I started to get carried away on the history passion etc. that I have for the GT but deleted it realizing I was on a Vette site and it was starting to sound like a post to a GT forum.

Anyway the GT is a timeless part of history that you and your team made possible. I still smile every time I look at it and have fond memories of the 2006 Rally in Dearborn.

Regards
Mark

Can't wait to hear your feedback after driving it for a few weeks. All reports are very positive. Never going to be a relacement for a GT and having an older version I drive quite a bit they still are great cars.

Seems like the guys over there are good spirited. I too echo the sentiment that I would love to hear the comparisons and happy for you on the purchase.

Congrats! Would love to hear your impressions.

There were a TON of them running around during woodward dream cruise, so saw many. A good evolution of the C6. Not enough to even have this Ford guy even consider it, nothing might... But still Im sure it is a great car, world class that is with in reach of many. Will be fun to see the ZO6 (or 7) evolve, and of course the ZR-1 replacement. Speaking of a ZR-1, sure can get one of those cheap these days....

Congratulations! Beautiful car. I am also interested in your impressions. I am really impressed with everything I have seen and read about the C7.

+4!

To my knowledge there hasn't been a dealer in the PNW who's rec'd one yet. I know Robinson in Everett is supposed to get a couple of the six they're allotted in October. They said they'd call when one came in. 'Guess we'll see...

There was 138 of them on the ground at Spring Mountain when we were there a couple of weeks ago! Got a chance to check them out. VERY nice cars for the money. It'll be interesting when the Z06 comes out!!

Beautiful cars!!! I didn't know that they(GM) had started production. It maybe a while before we see one up here is small town USA Wyoming. Hell the dealer in town still has a 2013 on the floor, I bet that will be hard to move without major incentives.

I'm attending a Corvette "Arrive And Drive" event tomorrow at Monticello. I better leave my Ford GT hat at home, although I'll have the car with me.

I'm also interested in the Z07 or whatever they'll call it. As long as it get's a 427. Seen what the C7 performed at nurburg it's gona be difficult to improve that time. A buddy over here just couldn't wait any longer and ordered one last week.i bet it's gone be one of the first to appear in Belgium.

Congrats on your new C7! Quite the car from what i have read!

Do they know you will wear the paint off the car just by looking at it yet alone drive it?

Nice ride Mark. Can't wait to hear more
