I am starting to lay out the second GT Get Away Weekend, and would like to get an idea of who might be interested in attending. I don't need a firm commitment right now, but just a rough head count. Some of the arrangements I'll eventually need to make will be based on the number of people attending.

As of now, the dates are not fixed, although May seems to work well, weather wise. I was thinking May 11 & 12 (Mothers day), but the weekends before or after could work too. Thoughts please.

I do have a rough idea of routes and stops we might make. For those who attended last year, your input will help.

For the record;

GTs are NOT required. Most of the routes and stops we will make will be at a "tourist's" pace, so who cares if you can do 205.
Fear of putting miles on your car is not an option. As last years attendees can attest, we rack up some serious miles.
A REAL hearty appetite is a must. If I've got to have a gut, you do too.
Cameras should be considered a must. (I just love seeing my picture plastered everywhere but the post office and speed cameras)
Plan on having a GREAT time.

We will try to make it work. Looking forward to it.
However likely not in the GT as it isnt headed south this year.
I may change my mind on the GT however.

Your event last year was one of the best I've ever been on and I've been to some GREAT car parties. I will absolutely be there AND....#34 is healthy again and will be attending with me. Any GT owner in California, Nevada, or Arizona who misses this has lost out on a really good time. Looking forward to it.

Don't I wish! Gorgeous men with accents who enjoy cars and can kick a$$ on the track are in such short supply. If only our Scottish-Italian boy was single... :lol

Part of the fun of this trip is not knowing exactly where you'll be going till Rich hands out his guide book at lunch on the first day. Convoy up from my house and you'll both have a blast. I guarantee it.

I read about this trip last year and thought, what a blast. My wife and I hope to attend this year if possible. Unfortunately, I will not know for certain until we get a little closer to the date. Please let me know when you will require a firm commitment from those attending.
