It is with great sadness of loss for a great Ford GT owner, racer and supporter of the GT community.

Obituary – Cause of Death : NEWS: American sports car driver, David Robertson has died at 66. In 2011, David, and his wife, Andrea Robertson, together achieved an iconic class podium in the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans, driving a Ford GT-R MK.VII. #RIPewgegerggg.jpg

Oh, no. So sorry to hear of this. David and Andrea's signature are on a place of honor on my GT. The only husband and wife team to podium at LeMans....any class. Great folks, great drivers, who contributed to GT history. Condolences to Andrea and the family.

Very sad news. We helped sponsor their car in the 2011 LeMans podium effort and had the great pleasure of meeting Andrea and David when they hosted many of us for the last Ford GT race in Atlanta.

Our deepest sympathies to Andrea and the family.

May David rest forever in peace.

A great couple with a fantastic story. When they gave their presentation in Carlisle Andrea stated crying talking about their podium finish.
David said the money they won at the race did not pay the catering bill. Very friendly down to earth people and David will be missed.

God speed Dave. I hope Andrea keeps racing the GTs in vintage events. It's an amazing feat they accomplished at Le Mans. For those of you who visited H's shop, there is lots of representation from the Ford GT Forum.

Sad. Way too young.
They signed many of our Rally GT posters and put on quite a show in their cars at Rally X at the Ford Dearborn Proving Ground.

Sad day indeed! Many of us had the pleasure to meet David Robertson at his place during the ’18 & ’19 Petit Le Mans @ Road Atlanta as he graciously opened his place up to the GT group. Was impressed not only at his friendliness & ingenuity but at his obvious love for his family! He will be missed. Godspeed sir! Praying for God’s comfort to your loved ones!

The event him and andrea put on at rally X was great. they were running somewhat of a road course at the Ford proving grounds in dearborn. I'll never forget that and the great times we had at the 10 year anniversary at Ford Carlisle that Joey put on. Dave and H his main race team manager invited us into their race trailer that had a complete lounge, bar and living quarters not to mention A/C because it was hot that day. I think we cleaned out Dave's bar but he didn't care and was just one of the guys having a great time with us. Good people

Had a few really interesting conversations with both of the Robertsons. David shared his driving experience at Lemans, what an eye opener.
Condolences to all whom knew him and his family. Way much to young indeed.
