Not a lot of football fans in here eh?
I expect people to talk about the lack of defense for Brady's body... how many sacks did he have? Yikes... but when he had good defenders, he was absolutely on fire.
Manning had every bit of luck behind him... a clutch player, and clutch receivers that won the game. I really enjoyed myself :cheers
Brady's lack of protection was due to the skill of the Giants. The Giants took chances when they needed to and created their own luck. The Pats had a chance to make their own luck too with the long 4th down conversion (low probability) but didn't convert. That is how games are decided.
... when Manning pulled away from the almost certain impending sack for that 32 yard toss... that was the stuff "super bowl miracles" are made of....

no kidding, seeing 4th and short.... I told everybody in the room when the conversion wasn't turned that that may have decided the game right there. It was far too early in the game to pull a risky move like that IMO
But you are right, each of those sacks was skill.... on the reverse side, when Manning pulled away from the almost certain impending sack for that 32 yard toss... that was the stuff "super bowl miracles" are made of.... at least replays for a very long time![]()
I doubt I'll ever go to the Super Bowl again in person. It's much better at home with your friends. In person, the corporate ticket vs. fan ticket mix has to be over 80/20, so the crowds are very, very lame.
