Does any one know if the Ford GT has a drain plug on the gas tank? I am switching to 100 octane and have a full tank. Thanks for your help Kurt

Highly doubtful; most OEM's use a vacuum method at the dealerships to draw fuel out.

Takes care

No drain at all, it is a one peice plastic tank, the only hole is under the centre console where the fuel pumps are . So vacuum method is the only way.
good luck

Thanks Guys :thumbsup

Why do you need to drain the tank? I takes me just under two hours with the right conditions and all the gas vanishes! :confused

If you have a handheld tuner you can get a special tune that runs the fuel pump when the key is turned on, then disconnect a fuel line and drain that way. I can't rember if there is a good place to do this on a GT, on other cars I have pulled the fuel rail pressure sensor and stick an appropriately sized hose in there.
