Angle

Rich,

Great idea. :thumbsup We don't need a front plate in AZ but if I did, I think the plate attach point on the end of the bracket should angle the plate back so it would parallel the bottom of the bumper instead of having the plate perpendicular to the ground. What do you think?

Just recvd. your second pm.
Yes i want one.
Thank you!

The plate rotates around the shaft. It's a two part thing - the shaft that mounts to the tow threads, and the plate holder (a rather sturdy piece of aluminum) that screws in to the shaft. As such, you can rotate the plate to any angle (as evidenced by my poorly aligned install in the photo). The way I look at it, this gives you the choice of using locktite to screw the plate bracket to the shaft and have it maintain the angle you want, of pack it in the trunk (such as it is) disassembled, with a screwdriver (and perhaps a 7/8" wrench to tighten the shaft) to assemble it when you need it.
Saves enough space that I can imagine actually packing a large sandwich along with it, and my car cover when traveling.
So, if I'm understanding your question correctly, you can align it anyway you choose.

I'm Interested in one !!!:thumbsup

Put me down for one. Connecticut likes ticketing for anything they can.

I'm interested in one as well. Thanks!

Well, it might be highly theraputic.
You could put it on.
Then take it off.
Then put it on again
You know.
:)

Well...I had to think QUICK when I filled out that form, ya know? An' so I thought to myself, "Whom do I know who pbly deserves........" And since one of YOUR unkind posts was the 1st thing that popped into my mind...and, of coarse, since there was only provision for ONE name on the form...

:lol :cheers

Just a quick update on the front license plate bracket group buy.
I placed the order last Sunday and the work is underway. There were a total of 18 requests. I Still don't have the eta - but I'd guess about two weeks.
I've covered the costs for the group buy, and will calculate the costs (with shipping) to each of you when it all arrives in bulk at my home.
I'll need shipping and form of payment info in the next week or so. I'll ping each of you for the details.

Regards,
Rich
