I reviewed the link however the links to the actual patent figures only took me to advertisements which is unfortunate. I like to understand the figures relative to the text description of the non-return fuel delivery system.

Uh, wait a minute, the Google patent appears to be granted to Bombardier Motor Corporation of America. Thought this was a Ford patent application. Did the number get transposed or something??

Does anyone know how the Ford torque based ECT works in detail? What needs to be changed if airflow is higher than expected by the PCM modeling? What does the IPC and Equizzer look for? is it just a calculation based on the VE table and sensor inputs from RPM, Baro, MAF and ECT?
