Ford wins AGAIN at Mosport!

Actually I think it is 6 hours...A full festival environment will complement the weekend’s racing with Austin’s famous food trucks, entertainment for the whole family, live music, and a fireworks display during WEC’s 6-hour race.

Not sure why they say the 24 hour le mans at Cota... but then say the race is 6 hours... guessing they have many other races that weekend that total 24 hours

Ah, got it.

As Awsum GT’s posted schedule above indicates there will be two races in which the NFGT will compete while at COTA because there are two sanctioning bodies coming together for this event. Each has slightly different rules (I am told).

1) 11:35am-2:15pm Race- Lone Star Le Mans for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (2 + 45 min)
2) 5:00pm-11:00pm Race- FIA WEC (6 hours)

Not shown is the Friday evening parade lap after the Porsche cup.

I added that to the above schedule... not sure on the actual time.

It does not take place until after the race and the track is clear.

Just watching a bit more of the race, the 67 really did steal that one. They were just talking about how much success and experience the corvette crew has at mosport. And the 67 was always behind in 6th, but everyone pitted and snuck right to the front. Lead from 55 minutes left.
