This color on this car is so riveting to me, that I am making a unilateral move to re-post so we all see it again. Can anyone confirm what the name of this current/actual color is?

I'm pretty sure it's Brittany Blue. Will confirm tonight.

My family is having a blast looking at all the Ford paint samples from the 60s and 70s. Ford sure had some interesting colors in the 70s.

For you young guys the original Shelby Cobra had a Princess Blue Color for the1962 Cobra that was beautiful and looks something like this color with a red interior and it was georgous. I love this color without the stripe!

Windveil Blue and Brittany Blue look very similar. Regardless of the name “Barrett Jackson Blue” looks fabulous.

Dave, how close to my Blue Moon car is it? Looks a tad bit lighter in pictures but it could be the lighting.

If this is the same one that I saw at the plant a few months ago, it was a silver blue combo, almost frost like.
It was stunning there. The lighting makes a real difference with this color. But its gorgeous just the same.

Cool, another Gulf blue!!

I actually think there are two Gulf Blues in production right now.

As of Thursday the 11th, yes, there were 2. They were close enough to tell that they were clearly different colors, but would be impossible to translate to words the differences (they were both very close)

Yes I saw 2 others when I was there as well.

So, "GULF BLUE" can actually be 4 or 5 different colors technically?

Good question Andy. the ones I saw looked the same as mine, from 10 feet away.

The GT depicted above in the factory is what I would expect for Gulf Blue. The blue on the 2006 Heritage is significantly different as a function of the fact that each body color on the 2005/2006 car had to come out of the existing Ford palette. I believe the orange did not because those rules did not apply to the accent stripes. At least this is what Camilo has told me. If you order Gulfblau out of the Glasurit paint catalog, you will get the below. Looks pretty close to me.

That light blue metallic / white stripe GT belongs to Barrett-Jackson president Steve Davis. He confirmed the color is Brittany Blue. The color scheme was chosen to complement the seven year restoration of his Shelby Mustang parked alongside. Steve has always bled Ford blue.

That makes at least four GTs at B-J Scottsdale. Ford's liquid red car on display, Craig Jackson's, Steve's, and Ron Pratte's heavily-optioned Liquid Blue car that he donated to Ray Evernham's charity.

Ron's GT will be auctioned Saturday evening (live on Discovery AND Velocity).
