That's team hospitality in the paddock. Ours will be bigger.

:huge:

It just keeps getting better and better. How many others VIP passes like ours were sold?

It's gonna be a little over 150 guests. Ford has their own corporate hospitality areas but you can expect some of them will be in ours as well.

It would be a face of joy! Until Heidi elbows me in the side - then a face of pain! LOL

Crazy budgets for these race teams.

Wait until you get there and see all the Porsche and Audi shit. Astronomical.

A small slice:

You don't need no french ladies, do you ?

Good news, we'll have more than enough parking passes for everyone.

Also, parade lap participants, you (and your passenger) will be required to wear a helmet while on the circuit. Ford will have enough helmets on site for everyone.

Did the same thing on Forza the other day as well. Did Spa too...:thumbsup

You guys are onto my training program. :lol

I was wondering about this. Can I do a parade lap in the Focus I rented :biggrin

Question: Will we be able to walk the road coarse sometime days before the race??

Stef,

You can walk it but it's a real hike. We (AJB, DBK, and I) did it 6 years ago and it took over 3 hours going at a pretty good pace. AJB's wife Margaret was the fastest as I remember it! Some of the small buildings on the Mulsanne look the same as they did in McQueen's movie Le Mans that was shot 46 years ago. I'm going to do it again as it does give you a better feel for everything when you are watching parts of the race on a screen. See you soon!

You can walk the track on Friday as there is no race car activity that day - most of the track reverts to public road during the day.

It'll take you a couple of hours as it's over eight miles round - the LMP1 cars can cover that in around three minutes and twenty seconds averaging over 150mph which is mind boggling.

That is astonishing and especially that it is at those speeds for 24 hours.

A team GT forum walk in the making.

is there wine and cheese being served along the way? :willy:thumbsup

That's good news. Might get an interesting experience though the clearance for Susanne and me is around 1cm :driving: But we would not want to miss the parade lap, even if we would have to carry additional weight :lol

Any professional video recording of the lap planned ? I wouldn't want to waste the chance to show to my family and friends how I stalled the engine :rofl
