Martyn:
Any pix of you 1967 GT40 experience?

I hope I'm not violating Marty's copyright. Here is his road test for Cars magazine.

I like Ralphie's hat and jacket aka Sergeant Peppers :thumbsup

Thanks for sharing.

Hey Gary, no problem. I should hire you as my PR guy! I should note that Bill Kolb who had the car at Gotham Ford, ended up as one of the top Shelby car salesmen back in the day. He and I are still friends and he owns a Tungsten Grey and Heritage GT, and now owns one of the top Subaru dealerships in the country. After our day of having fun with the MK III he drove another one of the MK IIIs from Ford from NYC to New Hampshire and clocked just about 150 mph!

what a great "flash back" just think of using "rolls of film".

Thanks for posting this article. Well written btw. Must have been a really fun day.

The attractive novelty of a Ford GT never wears off. We know the feeling, just back it out of the garage and and a crowd of twenty appears.

Thanks Xcentric!

Ed

Special Ed, the mods to my car aren't Vette like but are true to the original. :lol
