2 hours left. Bringing up the rear!

It is test day, so who knows.

I wouldn't even blame Ford for just dropping the entire racing program after this.

+1. This kind of inequity equates to over 20 minutes advantage for every team over the GT in 24 hours. That is just too much time to be made up in strategy or luck. One or two teams could have issues over an endurance race, but there are too many teams with multiple cars that have this same advantage over the GT now. Still going to go waving Ford colors, just a real shame BOP is.

They already have strict engine restrictions and I'm sure all other kinds of restrictions but they might as well restrict everything to have to be the same for every team(body, engine, induction, aero & etc.) if all they are going to do is let BoP screw with everything.

BoP is the most political system I've ever seen added to a racing program.

Test day over. This is how it ended; red flag for something or other.

Lots of work to be done. GTs finish 10, 11, 12, 13 in a 13 car class. Looks like the boost reduction is working!

I like simple solutions.

Turn up the boost to maximum race spec. When they pick it up thru telemetry and throw the black flag, just don't answer it. Run the race under protest.

No matter the outcome the only thing I walk away with from this is that Ford made such an insane car that they had to kill the boost on a 3.5l V6 TT and add a bunch of weight to make it fair for everyone else.

It's like forcing Usain Bolt to wear weighted shoes and clothes to make it fair for everyone else.

Where again is this "equal" racing field they so proudly trumpet that BOP creates? I'm sure GM, Porsche, Ferrari and Aston think it's just about perfect. Totally laughable. Congratulations to Ford Motor Company. You've built a GT car that is so superior in every imaginable way that in order to compete against it the competition has to revert to politicking and ridiculous handicapping.

I'll just keep posting this picture on FB and irritate the F Chat people who call Ford Sandbaggers. Let the Corvettes, Porsches and Ferrari's run each other off the track and then the slower GT's can just cruse on home 1-2-3. GO Blue, kick Ass and take No names!

What happened when a car won & all the competitors said "That car is fast, we need to make our cars faster" Now, it's "That car is fast, let's make them slower so we can win"

well last year we got BOP'ed down after qualifying just before the race which is not usual .. so who knows maybe we are holding back and we can cry at the meetings and maybe they'll give us something back. :biggrin ( I know.. Wishful thinking !! ) . As always,,, I'd take the less weight options,,,
