No cheap shots about why there's so much water and coke, yet only 1 measly six-pack of Guinness? You guys are slipping!

Some guy is going to see you loading things in your rear trunk with the clamshell reversed and meet some other poor unsuspecting GT owner and ask him "Where is your rear trunk and why does your engine hood open funny?" :lol

Very cool modifcation though. :thumbsup:thumbsup Thanks for sharing the pics. I am not showing them to my wife. I like that I finally got her learn to pack light when we take the GT. :wink

:cheers

From Bernard; $13,500 is the base price, including every thing necessary for the reversed clam shell, the trunk rubberized inside and out, the lid rubberized inside but unpainted, the intake tube unpainted including K&N filter.
Brackets for relocating the ford trans cooler and the shock canisters are at a small extra cost not determined yet,
painting of the intake tube, rear trim and lid with stripes is an extra $750, less W/O stripes.
Strut tower caps are not part of the std Kit, they are the first item of a line of additional accessories and not priced yet.
Install is $2000 at my shop or on location.
These prices are subject to change slightly in the near future and will be posted on my site soon, we are working on it.

From Bernard;Yes everything is the same for a stock GT or a X1. The X1 is no longer being built according to what's posted on their website.

What's next?
Not much on this car. Perhaps some little things coming down the line. :wink

Is the trunk made of asbestos? How do you keep it from melting - other than storing the car in Larry's garage!

I'll have to find out from Bernard what's the composition. I guess the real test will come this summer at some of the track events.

On the other hand, I guess the ice & Beer I'll have in the trunk while going around the track should help keep it from melting! You know a guy gets thirsty out there. :lol

Here's the info on composition....

From Bernard; The trunk and the lid are made of polyurethane coated fiberglass, the trunk is insulated from the exhaust by a stainless steel shield plus 2" of glass wool in an aluminized fiberglass canvas bag. During the testing, the temperature never reached 100 degrees F inside the trunk.
For track day just remove the lid and the trunk, it should take one person less than 2 minutes, and will not require tools in the future.( you will need a 10 mm wrench for the time being, sorry. ) I will send you a retrofit kit later.
It looks like I have to hurry to finish my web site with all the information.
